Hey Everyone!
My name is Clayton, I'm a 21 year-old media artist based out of San Diego and Salt Lake City. I currently attend the University of Utah and am majoring in Strategic Communications, and plan on graduating in May 2025 (woohoo!)
Capturing stunning images, creating beautiful videos, and designing captivating graphics, to me, is one of the most satisfying and fulfilling feelings in the entire world. I have been fortunate enough to spend years exploring the world of digital media art, which ultimately led me to pursue a career in this field.
I started out taking photos with my iPod Touch when I was around 12 years old, falling in love with flower "macro" shots and sunset photos. A couple of years later, I was given an old Canon 40d, which sparked my true passion for photography. As middle and high school went by, I perpetually upgraded my gear, while also shooting in various scenarios and learning more about the industry. During sophomore year, I began a job at a local start-up, LIGHT Helmets, a company designing next-generation football helmets. While working there as a helmet assembler, I developed a keen interest in marketing and advertising, which I eventually followed in college. With upgraded gear and some quality photos under my belt, I returned to LIGHT as a Marketing Intern, where I helped manage day-to-day social media interactions and worked with the Senior Director of Marketing and CEO to help establish the company's marketing strategies and goals that fit within their start-up budget. Following that, I opted to return for another summer as the company's Creative Content Manager, producing and editing the majority of the marketing material and collaborating with major athletes and influencers. In my time as a Marketing Intern and Creative Content Manager so far, I have been able to bring LIGHT Helmets' following to new heights and develop a cohesive community of players, parents, fans, coaches, and more.
